Privacy draft
Privacy policy
This privacy policy is an MVP draft for product testing and should be reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.
Data Inkly collects
- Account information from Clerk, such as user ID, name, email, and avatar.
- Uploaded handwriting template photos used temporarily for processing.
- Generated glyph bundles, manifests, and style metadata.
- Processing job and status metadata, such as job ID, status, timestamps, errors, and output URLs.
- Upload consent audit records, including consent text, consent version, accepted time, and optional salted request hashes.
Uploaded photos and generated styles
Uploaded template photos are sent to the worker for handwriting processing after consent is recorded. Deleting those raw photos after successful processing is a future production requirement if it is not automated yet. Generated user bundles are accessed privately through the app using signed URLs, but the R2 bucket policy must be configured correctly before launch so user bundle paths are not public.
Analytics and monitoring
Inkly may add privacy-conscious analytics such as Plausible and error monitoring such as Sentry before launch. If those tools are enabled, this policy should be updated with what they collect and how they are configured.
