Legal draft
Terms of use
These terms are an MVP draft for product testing and should be reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.
Your handwriting and permitted use
Inkly is intended to help you digitize your own handwriting and use it in documents you are allowed to create. By uploading handwriting, you confirm that it is your own handwriting or that you have the rights and permission needed to use it in Inkly.
Prohibited uses
You may not use Inkly for:
- Impersonation or pretending to be another person.
- Forgery, fraudulent documents, or deceptive signatures.
- Deception about authorship, identity, consent, or approval.
- Academic dishonesty where prohibited by a school, employer, or institution.
- Harassment, illegal activity, or any use that violates another person's rights.
Content removal
Inkly may remove, disable, or restrict access to abusive content, uploaded styles, or accounts when we believe they violate these terms, violate the law, or create risk for other people.
Watermarking
Exports created with user-uploaded handwriting styles may include invisible or faint watermark metadata, including style ID, account ID, export time, and export type. Watermarks are intended to support abuse review and basic forensic checks. They do not include your email address or secret credentials.
